2022 was the year of Grayson.

DC makes some bad calls at times but their handling of Dick Grayson was far and away the highlight of everything comic related. The entire year [imo]
Nightwing finally getting the type of treatment and push that a character of his tenure deserves. The character's earned it. Hope DC keeps up with the same direction on 2023.

Happy New Year!

2023 is starting strong for Dick with three whole stories in Urban Legends #23 and a milestone #100 issue. His other appearances in January seem interesting too.



Hopefully, the new year will bring more innovation for the character. I'd like to see Nightwing get backup stories once the Titans or the new premiere team, whichever Dick will be starring in, have gotten their own comic again.

Here's to a new year! May all of your 2023's be as good as 2022 was for Dick Grayson!

Gods it's nice to have Nightwing back up on top of the DC pile! His solo, World's Finest, guest spots galore, a major role in 2022's big Crisis Event, and prominent roles in at least a few different Elseworlds.....and most of it not too terrible, some of it even fantastic? When was the last time we had it this good?

And as far as I know we have no reason to expect this year to be much different, Dick's popularity seems to be on the rise, am I right? Gods it's nice, looking at a new year and being excited for what it'll bring Nightwing.
