Superhero movies migjt reduce but they won't die. Batman and Robin did not kill the genre. Superman 4 did not kill the genre.

I'd previously seen this tarot card done with Doom. Really like the new one, though.

I haven't seen anything about the new secret wars Doom paired with Photon action figures since that you tube video showing them. I think release in the fall was mentioned. I'd keep checking the Hasbro site, but no word on pre-orders there yet.

This week gave us two Doctor Doom appearances....

First up is a brief reunion with Doctor Strange, who had come back from the dead. While he was gone Doom had gone to Clea to claim the right to be Sorcerer Supreme but she turned him back. It's just like a new bride to cause trouble between two friends



And chalk up another example of the multi lingual Doom in Tiger Division #5...He probably speaks at least two or three others....German, Hungarian and the language of the Romani people. Plus English of course.

In 3D figure news, I've finally pulled the trigger and purchased my own resin 3D printer. After a couple of small successful test prints and one failure, this is my first Doom print.

ALSO ... the Silver Sable book featuring Dr Doom as the main nemesis just dropped on my porch courtesy of Amazon. This is separate from the David Annadale book, The Tyrant Skies, featuring Doom vs Red Skull and the third in his Doom trilogy, which is due now by April 20.

I am glad we well get what looks like some interesting appearances. I esp want to see his reunion with Morgan Le Fey. What has been forgotten is that they have a child, Caroline Le Fey. But that character hasn't been around much, just in a series called Fearless Defenders about 10 years ago.

Collecting parts for 3D prints

Newest Dr Doom 3D printed model, not yet complete. The scale on this one was problematic (hence all the parts printed in previous post). Also because full size parts were difficult to fit on my printer. This version is about 80%.

However, I think the head is a little too small, so I'm printing another one slightly larger and will compare.

Yeah, the slightly bigger head is better. The difference is subtle though.
