I like that Doom has been frenemies with both Tony Stark and Stephen Strange. He also has a relationship with Morgan Le Fey, which did produce a child although it appears that this is a child from the mutiverse or Marvel just ignores it. He also was frantic about saving Valeria Richards in last month's Fantastic Four. I don't if he were totally villainous that he would haved cared so much. He stepped in to deliver her when Reed was being held prisoner by the Forgotten Ones (?) and she in turn calls him Uncle Doom.

AFAIK, he doesn't know about this child. She has only appeared in Fearless Defenders. It's one of those "Forsaken and Abandoned' storylines unfortunately.

Doom does not appear in the last issue of Betsy Braddock, Captain Britain #5 (briefly there are Doombots), nor in the first issue of Ultimate Invasion.

If you ever have played the Superhero Squad Online Game, Venom and Doctor Doom are playable plus they are featured in some of the missions as adversaries.

It is a bit puzzling as to why there has been so much of it lately. I'd like to see more appearances in Fantastic Four or the Avengers.

There was some interesting bits in Clobberin' Time #4, particularly where Doom served the Thing with this supposedly traditional Latverian dish called "chi vhap chi chi" and this story about an ancient hero, "Goran the Immutable" [note: Goran is a Slavic, Pre-Christian name, meaning "highlander" or a mountain-man, someone who lives in the mountains; and immutable means unchanging or unable to be changed] . And the dish looks like slop and all the Thing wants is a burger, but this was part of a ploy by Doom so unknown how much if any of the story Doom tells him is true. But it's always fun to wonder if there are stories about Latveria's past yet to be told.

I think the idea here is that this is definitely a Doom from another timeline, or perhaps even the multiverse. Ben says he gets "old man vibes" off of him.
