Of by some miracle Ewing gets more seasons I think she could end up doing great things for T’Challa.
"Ewing gets more seasons I think she could end up doing great things for Tchalla". Yikes!!!!

Oooh boy, where have we all heard this before???

After all no one said the same thing about Coates and Ridley during the early issues ....we **ALL** know how that turned out don't we???

And here we are again, another BP fan without some pre-cautionary tempered expectations.

If u want to read Batman and Catwoman, please go to DC comics.

Right now i want to see how Ewing handles this "Kivu Ma" thingy. If Tchalla gets chumped.... [Angryface]

The funny thing is I can get her having frustrations over not getting the habit. As mentioned thats basically Hunter's whole MO.

But as also mentioned its an inheritance thing, not a gender thing. If you want a personal arc for her, make her angsting about the fact she was born the second child and how families tend to inherently automatically position the first child as the prime heir.

Like its at least more relatively interesting and more of a personal bug for herself than just reducing the whole thing to "she was robbed of what was rightfully hers because she's a woman".

And even if they get Tchalla a "queen" ..she MUST have superb superpowers not some cheap Catwoman or Black Widow or Mary Jane/ Lois Lane rip off.

Personally, i will prefer is she was already a queen from a humanoid alien race that inhabit a star system or cluster of dimensions. The queen and Tchalla have some heroic escapades together regarding IEW/ Intergalactic Empire of Wakanda and her kingdom against certain supervillains...along the way they fall for each other, marry and her kingdom joins or enters a partnership treaty with the IEW.

Whoever this queen will be for Tchalla she should be powerful not some copycat floozzy.
No.. the real reason it didn't work is because Storm isnt controlled by the BP office, so x office frackery occurred. When a. Character is from said mythos other franchises have far less say, I think that a queen can work, I they shouldn't be a alien race. I think Zanda (Redjacks version) could make into a VERY good LI as she makes a hero character arc and journey, learning from T'Challa what it means to be selfless and heroic, while she taps into T'Challas adventurous aode and allows him to open io more and be HAPPY again, like he was when Hudlin wrote him with Storm before isht hit the fan. But it shouldn't be rushed. It needs to develop naturally and organically with time

My goodness, why would u want MORE of that... doesn't matter if he is young or not!??!?
A younger inexperienced TÂ’Challa thatÂ’s new to it is more excusable than the TÂ’Challa that has been doing it for 10+ years in 616. Rise has already shown that we can have a formidable TÂ’Challa despite being younger and inexperienced if left in the right hands. With how some of the things look in the new Ultimate Universe I wonÂ’t be surprised if heÂ’s younger considering some of the changes they made with other characters but even if heÂ’s older and experienced thereÂ’s no guarantee that we wonÂ’t still get the same stuff that we got from Coates and Ridley. Will Moss is still around so either way IÂ’m skeptical but IÂ’ll be more interested in seeing a young TÂ’Challa that starts to become more like Priest and RedjackÂ’s BP after each arc. IÂ’m not expecting this TÂ’Challa to be the prep master that punches well above his weight class and is the most dangerous man alive and is one of the smartest from the jump. Anyone expecting something like that is setting themselves up for disappointment. My expectations are low and will remain so until his series comes out.

You know back then I suggested Monica Lynne be turned into an inhuman back when Marvel was trying hard to make them a thing. Of course that was all before Disney bought Fox and when Chadwick was still alive.

I'm glad Black Panther's main-stream popularity will decline since he's relegated to just comics now

bc... the choice not to recast T'Challa is about respecting a man who died tragically and the choice to recast Kang would be about replacing an abuser? it's a completely different situation lol
