[QUOTE=Ezyo1000;6685612][QUOTE=skyvolt2000;6685494]There isn't anything wrong. It's just that when that is all you are offered. No matter your resume.
It gets to the point of why do all that work and still get passed over for others who have done less.
Justice League was the first ongoing McDuffie did by himself with no co-writer and was NOT a Milestone title or guest spot. He was 20+ years in the industry. Think of ALL the stuff he did before that-Milestone, 4 DC animated movies, Ben 10, David Letterman, Hellraiser and more.
He and Priest are probably the only black men who can say they have worked on almost every big named character except the Mutants. Folks forget Priest wrote Conan and one of his first issues featured EARLY cover work from some guy named Jim Lee.
Agreed 100%.Crazy thing is for your first point, Mark Miller WANTED to write a BP book and was told no because he wasn't black... Like what the f*ck kinda logic is that?
I hear ya man, I wasn't saying it was bad to write POC characters and I agree with the rest of what your saying. I just wish BP would get GOOD writers regardless of race. Other than RJ and Hill, Al Ewing, Salamed, Hickman, and Miller are all solid choices o would pick in a heart beat
