Lance Reddick would have been a GREAT Achebe
No one is dissing the film or whining to whine. It literally saying that how they have treated T'Challa since his debut has been subpar. Many people could overlook some of the glaring issues of BP1 due to there being a sequel to fix the issues of the first. However, when Chad passed and they went on their "it's just a mantle" and "it's always been about Wakanda" as well as going all in on girl power and everyone acting like fans were sexist for wanting T'Challa to stay in HIS franchise, this is the result. T'Challa is a household name, but his franchise has been completely derailed. To act like this isn't the case is disingenuous at best.

Post-Engdame, Marvel has made a lot of puzzling decisions but I think Alonso leaving is unfortunate.
She was the only LGBT exec at the company and was one of the people there that pushed hardest for diversity.
Nate Moore on the other hand hasn't really covered himself in glory with his comments about BP. I would rather someone else anchor that franchise there because Moore's decision regarding BP2 ended up being rather muddled.
OK, on that part, she fumbled the ball. The VFX aspect of things has been a complete mess lately.
But how much of that was her and how much of it was it was corporate pushing for far too much content with unrealistic deadlines?
I'm not excusing how she managed the VFX teams but the problem (I think) comes from Disney trying pump out too much Marvel (and Star Wars stuff)
Other than Rogue & Gambit next month does T’Challa have any upcoming appearances before his new series and MacKay’s Avengers?
