They're still hiring people for artist and engine building specifically for the WW game. Guess all they had ready was some recorded dialogue and a character model ready to show off back then. Definitely seeing a trailer this year though.

Ya know I've been playing a lot of Hades, and that games revolves around Zagreus relying on Godly boons to give him all sorts of abilities, I got reminded.

Wasn't Diana's various abilities originally Godly boons and blessings?

Yes and no. She received blessings and powers from them, but they are hers, she doesn't lose them, and they don't really (or shouldn't be able to) take them back.

Would it be interesting if they did more with that? Like give her a bit of a modular powerset, depending on the adventure she could get a boon from a particular God that gives her a new trick like Zeus' lightning bolts or Artemis equips her with a heat-seeking bow?

Also yeah Hades 2 is gonna be rad. Imagine the artist for that game doing some WW designs, that be cool to think about how Diana would look in that art-style.

I've always imagined Diana's world looking like either something out of Breath of the Wild, Hades, or Elden Ring. Those would be my ideal styles.

I do like the idea that her patrons would literally come to help her e.i. literal Deus Ex Machinas lol. But I don't want to see Hera superhero land in front of her and start beating the **** out of like Dr. Poison or whatever. Like you said, giving her tools or info or just taking her somewhere she need to be.

Yeah I believe thats regarded as the more interesting way to go with the Gods. Treat them less as figures that Diana can just punch out and more as these enigmatic figures that function on their own wavelength.

They can be allies or obstacles but she can't just directly confront them and they prefer to participate via some kind of avatar or chosen of some kind.
