Default Artemis of the Bana-Mighdall Appreciation 2023

New year, new thread for our favorite red-headed Amazon.

She didn't have too bad a 2022, webtoon's been pretty alright and hopefully introducing her to a larger audience

Is there a version of Artemis that you prefer - Requiem, Shimtar, WW, Outlaw... - or one that you would like to see?

Rebirth/Webtoons is pretty much the best version of Artems imo.

I dig the art, but Artemis there reminds me of Gamora in the Guardians of the Galaxy films: take a hard-edged, morally grey, absolutely lethal femme fatale from the source... and have her already concluded her character arc into a more wholesome version so the development instead rests with Star-Lord/Red Hood.

Unfortunately that's how i feel about majority of DC characters because they refuse to flesh out new versions of the characters and use "it ALL happened"

To me, revisions of the characters should have some familiarity characterization-wise. I feel this Artemis is more like Big Barda with her genial demeanor despite her rough upbringing. Not that the Artemis I know couldn't end up like this, maybe in a century or two...

Just going by those scans, this is more or less how Artemis was written post Messner-Loebs.
