I would say yes. The Bana being removed from joining the Themyscira tribe until ToA means that so many stories are wiped out. Artemis was never WW, she just recently met Cassie and was never her mentor, never went to hell, etc

    Wow.

That is kind of tragic. But maybe "Artemis" can keep her current situation as essentially a new character and the events of Challenge of Artemis could be Orana or some other Amazon and Tribe. She was after all a reinvention of Orana anyway, sooooooo.....

But that takes me further into the land of WTF-going-on.

Where was that stated? She was called Wonder Woman. So was Hippolyta.

That is kind of what spawned this line of questioning here and over on DC re the Justice League. I just don't know what is going on or what's what at the moment.

Requiem is my favored phase of Artemis because it gave her a different role from just WW supporting cast, untethered from her past connections but also open to her re-establishing her links to the Bana-Migdall and Themyscirans.

Say what you will about the Deodato art but that setup was prime Artemis, the "Challenge" storyline in her cap and the world her oyster without beholding to WW, Hippolyta, or the Amazons.
