It's sometimes hard to think of Ollie as an "everyman" considering his privileged upbringing and how often he goes through spells of unlimited wealth again these days.
At least when he was broke / not wealthy during the late 1960s through maybe sometime in the 1990s (or was it later?), that argument could be a bit more credible (but still with limitations).

But to me at least, it’s not how rich Ollie (or Clint) is or isn’t. it's his status and outlook that are the factors.
No matter how rich Ollie may be and how much he tried aping his style starting out, he’s never going to look at things like, or be seen at the level of Batman, and I don’t think he’d want to.
