Uncanny Avengers had some issues with distributing panel time, but I feel like it's been exacerbated since he came over to the X-Men office.

And yea, it looks like she went back to her villain-slicked back pixie cut.




I do like the red hoodie or scarf though, it's a nice contrast to all the green.

Actually really liked that lineup. The characters meshed really well-- how could they not with Storm, Wolverine, Colossus, Kitty, Nightcrawler, and Rogue and Gambit? Far from the best era, but its underrated, imo. The Skrull stuff mixed in with The Twelve was annoying tho. The way Joseph was dealt with wasn't the best either.

Kelly wanted to drastically revamp the line-up in the late 90s, but was constantly met with rejection. Hence, he was replaced with Davis in the aftermath of the Magneto War.

He wrote a mostly excellent Storm, so I'm guessing there would have been a much bigger story to tell.

Steve Seagle and Joe Kelly were NOT replaced. Both of them quit outright because they wanted to write a Jean Grey/Pheonix story, and the editors forced the Magneto War storyline on them instead.

I heard they were going to have Storm fix the planet, but die in the process. Editorial nixed that and had them go with Joseph instead(to die fixing the planet). I think it is true, but who knows. I wasn't in the room.

It doesn't really make up for her being background all throughout this mini, but I did find the throwing the nuclear bomb out into the desert while Wade comes to save her sweet. A bit annoyed about the Gambit comment, but it's whatever. Also Rogue is back in her debut short hair and green body suit by the end of the issue. Don't want to get my hopes up, but its really giving MCU synergy NGL.
