Huh, a Powergirl backup in Action Comics today did a better job of showing the trauma of Garfield getting shot in the face then the nightwing comic did. Though Nightwing is there and the titans are concerned about Garfield in the story.

Used the wrong name though. Dick called him Beast Boy, but he was Changeling in Teen Titans Academy, and considering the storyline, had no opportunity to switch back, so Dick should've called him Changeling.
Next Generation Teen Titans by Kara Huset.
Robin - Helena Wayne
Speedy - Lian Harper
Supergirl - Cassandra Drake (Super clone adopted by Tim and Conner and presumably named after the 1990s Batgirl and Wonder Girl, who are both also called Cassandra).
Nightstar - Mar'i Grayson
Impulse - Irey West
Kid Flash - Jai West
Martian Boy - Max Morse (daughter of Megan, Miss Martian).

Some actual therapy in Superhero comics? So basically what Heroes in Crisis should've been?
Yeah basically.
Essentially Dick brings Garfield to Omen as a therapeutic session because he won’t talk or come out of his transformation, in this case a little green calf, after having been shot in the face. So Powergirl with her new psychic power goes into Garfield’s head to handle the problem while Omen acts as the instructor.

Considering a good number of those that got killed in that trainwreck of an event were Titans at one point or another, it only further raises the question (in universe at least) as to why no one went to the psychic psychiatrist that already knows most of these people both in and out of the costume.
