I know he was advertised as "Widlfire" in the 2003 Teen Titans cartoon comic.

Is anyone reading World's Finest: Teen Titans series?
What do you think?
They probably want a more heroic direction for Blackfire then past eras.

DC has a lot of characters who work better as anti-heroes or anti villains than actual villains and a bunch of villains who they push as anti-heroes or anti villains who are straight up villain.
Blackfire as she is (was?) works fine though. Her sole focus was on Tamaran, rarely getting involved in Earth related affairs.
They were also back then having her ‘03 cartoon persona replace her more complicated and nuanced past comics depiction as well. They backed off on that somewhat.
With Trigon for awhile they tried to have the ‘03 animated depiction replace that in the comics as well, but that didn’t last long as that version was even more one note then the origional and that really lends itself only to a one and done story.

I almost hate to say it, but I would really like a story that re-elevates Trigon to the status he should be....demonic warlord something near the level of Darkseid in status. What's been done to his character is a travesty. He should be powerful and fearsome...as it is, my neighbor's four year old granddaughter could beat him with her cat.
