I'd like to see an explanation for why they keep rehiring him other than "his boss likes him".

I really hope that if Carol's there, that there's no relationship drama.

If Carol's there, I'd just like to see her get used more, romance or otherwise (even if I love HalxCarol).

I always loved how Waid depicted Hal's civilian life in JLA: Year One and Flash and Green Lantern: The Brave and the Bold. I'm biased because those comics, along with the Emerald Knights story during Kyle's era, are what made me a Hal fan in the first place, but his numerous failed attempts at relationships, his various jobs, his friendships with Barry and Ollie, are a lot of what made the character fun on Earth. I hope we get more of that kind of stuff.

I hope we get more of that kind of stuff.

It'd be fun to see him try to settle down to life on Earth for a while but things always getting upended, though he can always count on his close friends and family. And hopefully we can count on seeing these relationships explored, especially among friends who we haven't seen much interaction between.

There probably wouldn't be an actual Star Sapphire uniform similar to how Hal didn't have a GL uniform. It was basically his space suit with the GL symbol on it. I actually liked that, it certainly made sense for that particular version.
