Most likely, but this kind of thing shouldn't get past the editor. lol It's kind of their job.

More likely its just meant to be symbolic not replicating an exact moment. They needed to communicate the Crisis and Hal. Hell Hal had a ring for the last bit of the Crisis and was back in uniform the second it was over and didn't find out about Barry's death (in a kind of underwhelming way honestly) till after Crisis so he WAS in his GL outfit when he learned of it. And its not as if the details of that period hadn't already been messed with by retcons by that point. Hal may never have gotten a full clean slate reboot... but oh boy has he had his past tempered with by writers. Geoff in particular ripped out big hunks of moment from the 80s stuff and made them impossible to happen with Rebirth, along with his stuff contradicting Hal's Specter run in big ways. And reboots of the Omega Men, twice over now I think, have flushed Hal's two adventures with them down the drain.

He is the GL turned armored anti-hero pre-New 52 pre-Rebirth, from a different universe never had association with Yellow fear bug.

I think that Hal having been the Spectre should be something that at some point in the new book is brought up.
It's an important part of his life just like Parallax was .
Hal for sure has had a complicated history since the beginning . But I still really enjoy him in the books that he's in .
I also loved all those times that Hal & Kyle fought in the 90's .

That Parallax diverged from ours when he came back to earth and fought Kyle and the JLA during "Parallax View" which is how he was trapped in Metropolis when the dome went up. And ... I think that happened right after "Zero Hour"

I really hope we get to see Carol as a heroic Star Sapphire at some point and they don't act like she hasn't been doing anything with her ring this whole time.
