Right now I think part of the issue is that without a solo book Babs will continue to be a supporting player in other peoples' stories whether as Batgirl or Oracle.

Even in Nightwing she's mostly there to just flirt with Dick and look cool. She's got no character arc or life outside of that. Same with mentoring the Batgirls even if she felt right at home there.

The Batgirls comic was interesting, but after the first arc, the book felt no direction or continuation. During that time, I was getting something of Barbara, Cassie and Steph stories.

I think that Coyote vs. Acme is entirely finished, while Batgirl still had all of its postproduction effects work to be done.

i commend the filmakers canceling appointments to make a statement that we cant trust a company that will throw away our efforst for a tax write off

The Coyote vs Acme wasn't a tax write off. WB planned to do it, but the plans changed before it happened. That's why it could be sell to another studio.

Batgirl has been already written as a tax reduction. They will need to return the money from the tax reduction in order to release Batgirl (which is also not complete).
