True enough. It's why I appreciated the Prime Sentinels from Operation: Zero Tolerance. Make them human-sized, make them by loading up unwitting human beings with cybernetic and nanotechnological augmentations to transform them into literal anti-mutant killing machines that can hide amongst humans the same way human-passing mutants can and detect those same human-passing mutants, and that's at least a unique way to amplify the threat presented by the Sentinels. As for the Stark Sentinels, the real threat they present is the cooptation of a hero's image to promote the cause of genocide, more of a psychological assault than anything else.

Karima Shapandar was more dangerous than almost every one of the mass production model Sentinels. But... her cybernetics are all Sentinel tech, not even top tier Sentinel tech, but..... she makes your average Sentinel look like cannon fodder.

Sentinels are over-rated... It's tech that in theory was a real threat.... but the whole conservation of ninjutsu thing kicks in. ONE Sentinel attacking a shopping mall is a major threat... an army are just pop up targets.

I'm not surprised. Last issue was blatant filler and really killed the momentum for me. I've been far more interested in "I AM IRON MAN", which had far more emotional depth to it.

That's the last future event from History of the Marvel Universe fulfilled then. I bet Cantwell was never meant to write Iron Man, until Duggan's run was postponed due to Fall of X being held back.

Yeah it really feels like the original plan was have Tony Marry Emma or most likely just tease the marriage and when that fell through Cantwell/Marvel went with Hellcat/Patsy.



I wonder if Patsy will be at the wedding and what she thinks of all this?? She might think Tony is some type of serial marriage proposer or something.

We do have that. But it's over in "I AM IRON MAN", which is unfortunately just a miniseries.

It's funny how it seemed like people were convinced this wasn't still happening and yet here we are.

I mean, it's hard for me to get enthused by this because it's probably a marketing gimmick and I doubt they're going to legitimately get married. Duggan hasn't even set up or built up a real romance arc between them and I doubt that's going to happen. Maybe they have sex once but that'll probably be it, whatever marriage this will be will probably just be for show.

It's also just funny because the prior run also had them marketing Tony proposing to Patsy but that went nowhere.
