Happy New Year everyone. I'm hoping for another great year for the High Priest of Khonshu and the Midnight Mission.

I know this run is a ways off from getting the omnibus treatment especially since the run is still going on but I really do wish they would at least start putting out some oversized hardcovers. If any current Marvel series deserves the OHC treatment it's this one.

I'm loving McKay's take on the character and I'm hoping it lasts a while longer.

While the series is always good it just reads on a whole other level when Cappuccio is drawing the issue.

I'm surprised no one talking about the new issue and how great it was.

Despite being a top 25 book, it doesn't seem to get a lot of traffic. Ah well.

Default Moon Knight Appreciation Thread 2023

This thread is for all things Moon Knight. In any and all media.

He first appeared in Werewolf by Night #32 in 1975 and after a few guest spots in the MU found his own series. He would and has maintained a consistent presence in the Marvel Universe ever since.
In 2022 he landed an exclusive show on Disney+

His current comic series by Jed McKay is, as of this thread starting, just released issue #20 and has been a most enjoyable run. For your review a quick look at some of his other series is pictured below.

McKay has one of the hottest pens in comics at the moment. Jesus, everything he's done has been so so good.

Issue #20 is yet another amazing entry by Jed McKay. He has honored prior creators turn with the character by touching back at times on their run to do new things with MK. All without retconning anything away(*cough*JasonAaron*cough*)

There’s blood on the streets as assassins work their way through a list of names containing those who once formed Moon Knight’s Shadow Cabinet. But with a number of potential targets and no idea who’s next, how can Moon Knight save his former associates? PLUS: Just in time for Black History Month, a second story in which the crescent crusader crosses paths with the Sheriff of the Vampire Nation, Blade!

When the touchback here was to the Marc Spector series and the Shadow Cabinet I was amazed again. His backup feature with Blade was amazing AND spoilers:
he introduces a new Khonshu fist from the past
    end of spoilers.
