Per his usual, recent history, he eventually relents & just... GIVES IN to their demands, by presenting himself [TO ALL of them, gathered around in audience] as they prefer. But that wouldn't be enough, as Brock's venomized Bedlam takes the opportunity to teasingly embarrass him further, by... removing a few more bits from what remains of his torn uniform, sayin' HE still wasn't seein' enough skin. AleXXX then quietly & begrudgingly says thank you under his breath, to which Eddie responds "Don't mention it... li'l buddy," followed by a pat on the head & whispers in his ear that, "PAYBACK can be later, in private."


So, more & more I'm seeing SINISTER as a metaphorical STAND-IN for Marvel [Comics... only?] et al., as they continue to...

Could Alex be in this upcoming Uncanny Avengers title? He was a leader of the same group before. The fact that Maddy is now both the ruler and ambassador of Limbo, could this Uncanny Avengers book be a version of X-Factor vol 2. The whole goverment liasons/Val Cooper strike force vibe?

yes, but that was before DW & how things turned out there, which I think has made it seem a lot less likely since. I suppose it could...
still be possible, but I never really believed it would be him anyway, honestly... because TPTB just don't think enough of him for that.

Limbo's embassy & how it came to be does add a plausible, new wrinkle to the government liaisons angle, though, that wasn't there...

This I blame the writer for. Hopefully if a person is blessed with a team book with Alex Maddy (and maybe Warren and DeCosta) they will take more time and care with character development. Maybe they can get Claremont to write the book. He had the best grip on Maddy and I guess my favorite depictor of Alex as well. At least he isn't a Scott stan that uses Alex as a prop to boost Scott at every opportunity.
