Looking at the previews for Blood Hunt, part of me sighed a bit. Heroes vs vampires. Again? I think the same idea was done in DC vs. Vampires. Though to be fair, DC took the concept of heroes vs. zombies from Marvel Zombies for DCeased.

Still, there are differences. I believe DC vs. Vampires was more subtle and quieter. Blood Hunt seems to be more open. Previous concepts, like the Vampire Nation in Chernobyl as well as the vampires that appeared in McKay's Moon Knight run, appear to make appearances here. And come to think of it, Avengers taking on vampires is always cool.

Let's see how this goes.

I don't think so. It features the current Avengers team, Miles Morales, Moon Knight, Tigra (who's been co-starring in MK's book), Blade, and his daughter Bloodline.

I am not referring the main book. Let's not forget event do also publish several tie-in runs. So, maybe there's a chance they may show up in some Blood Hunt tie-ins.

I expect this is going to be better written than DC vs Vampires.

Actually read this in the last few days, just as a way to prepare for the inevitable comparison between the two storylines. Now, I did enjoy most of the moments in DC vs. Vampires. There were horror, tension, and action. I was surprised who became a vampire and who became a hero.

But yeah, there were some plotholes. And that ending? How did that happen? I'm still trying to figure it out.


In any case, let's see how Marvel handles this.

Basically, what I was going to point out. In theory, vampirers are already dead, or technically not alive, so it's kind of hard to kill what is already dead, and ois simply mimicing life.

Like how the Hand ninja's are technically not alive in the traditional sense.

I really never quite understood what made Hand ninja's tick (they are quite limber for zombies), I always just found them boring.
