Coates gave us Divinity which is still majorly up in limbo.

Ms. Williams came in with a backstory and had Storm channeling her ancestor and fueling a spell as well as having the most powerful(?) magical user in the MU fanboying over Ororo's "potent" abilities.

It will be soo romantic a candle light dinner a somber evening and above as a back drop a meteor shower. As to the meltdown... they will be fine once they gather themselves and realize this a work of fiction and it isnt that serious.
