It had been leaked earlier this week but now Rocksteady has officially confirmed Ivy in the Suicide Squad Kills The Justice League game. They've basically Grootified her and have her come back as a kid after her death in Arkham Knight.

In Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, Poison Ivy is a "precocious toddler with terrifying genetic engineering powers," who is "skilled at creating biological toxins that can aid players applying elemental afflictions to their melee weapons and grenades."

"For fans who paid close attention to Arkham Knight, they'll remember that when Poison Ivy died, she left behind a little sprout. And in this game, they discover that the sproutling has been cared for by people who have their own motivations for doing so, but in the chaos of Metropolis she's escaped."

Such a weird character turn.

I'd rather she just be playable. Then again, it'd be weird having Ivy become a shooter who occasionally fights with plants (her crossbow and 2nd amendment moment in the HQ cartoon aside).

Honestly she can have such a diverse power set. Projectiles can include vine whips, or if she HAS to use a launcher, she can use it to shoot jars containing carnivorous plants at enemies. For melee attacks, you can also have pheromone powers where Ivy can have mind-controlled enemy minions do her bidding and fight their own side or defend her from them (I'm blanking out on the game that had the character pull this move but it is damn cool and definitely done before so doable)

Oh yeah, DCUO has a powerset partially inspired by Poison Ivy. A big part of it is grabbing enemies with vines.
