    Is James Owsley the guy who later changed his name to Chris Priest? I recall Priest using Black Canary in a couple of issues of The Ray (with the main character possibly losing his virginity to BC).

    Yeah, I think that was shown prior to her joining the JLA, because she used similar maneuvers against Superwoman of the Crime Syndicate.
