Between Sinister suddenly dressing like Gambit a few years ago and the whole playing card suite theme, it seems clear that some revelation about Sinister and Gambit was supposed to happen but then got cancelled for whatever reason. Just another example of plans very awkwardly changing in the Krakoa era.

According to everyone Mr Sinister is gonna be the main bad guy in the xmen 97 and potentially in the female focused Xmen movies.

Interestingly Chris Claremont was on Near Mint condition YouTube just talking. Yeh he's basically just thinking about the past and stuff. Didn't really say much about anything. He mentions Gambit once at around the half hour mark. But I definitely feel like he isn't gonna like where they take Mr Sinister as he never wanted Mr Sinister to be taken this seriously as a villain.

Adam is the boy with fungus on his face, right? My theory is that Sinister took him to the future to cure him and left him there. Irene knows that he is Sinister's son and that is why she hates him.

The destiny hating Gambit for that reason is an interesting one
