Merry Christmas Shang fans .
Hi all. Wanted to hear your thoughts on the Gang War tie-in. Honestly, I was very and pleasantly surprised with this issue. The preview only provided a small glimpse of what was featured in this issue. And wow what an issue. Here we see Shang-Chi deal with the Sun Tzu concept of deception. What is his limit with it? How are is he willing to go with it? Throughout the issue, Shang strives to implement Sun Tzu's art of war ideals into the reality of the Gang War. Yes he fights off his enemies, but the real question is how does he use deception with his allies. When is he being honest and not? The story definitely made me think.
Shang-Chi's other main concern, how much is he becoming like his father, was prevalent throughout the issue. There were parallel scenes that showed that conflict.
This was a great issue. Looking forward to the next one.
