Hank McCoy, the Beast Appreciation 2023

I'm tired. After Wolverine #35, I'm convinced that Percy is going to very, very, very slowly drag this out for another decade. I'm taking a break from comics and this forum for awhile. If anyone finds out anything that Beast has escaped Percy's grasp and is going to redeemed please post it here.

Take a rest. I'll keep and eye on things and report back here if there is any good news.

Maybe one day they will reveal the last few years of X-Force and Wolverine have all been fabricated by Angelica and we've been reading the version she fed to the Orchis people LOL

Another sad thing that I noticed is that as Bobby died, he alled out to all of his original X-men family but Hank. They were always portrayed as the closest but in his last seconds, Bobby didnt even think of him. That was a choice to write that

I just assume it's because those three are at the gala, and Hank isn't. It's still telling though.

I found that a bit heartbreaking, the fact that Hank's closest friends don't consider him a friend anymore. Not that he doesn't deserve it mind you, it just made me think of the Hank of old and his close relationship especially with Bobby, Jean and Warren.

No he doesnt and quite frankly, its not just about him. No one should be fine with the stuff that Beast did to him. They should be horrified. If and when people learn about Piotr, Beast doesnt have a leg to stand on. Piotr has been manipulated and forced to do horrible things against his will. Thats exactly what Hank has done to Wolverine and it would make him incredibly hypocritical to expect an apology with that context in mind

No. Xavier would have known. Plus we've seen Dark Beast this era and Im sure that scene with Sinister was to dissuade thinking that Hank is really Dark Beast

It was just a panel but he was with Bobby and Warren in the celebration at the end of HoX.

But Gorgon killed Wolverine and had him brainwashed by Hydra and the Hand as their assassin, which was worse than anything Beast ever did, and Wolverine was ok having a beer with him .

Wolverine also forced Vanisher into joining his x-force hit squad against his will by having Elixir give him a terminal brain tumor.
