How weird would it be if USM had a married Peter and MJ with a kid? Like, at that point, every other version of Peter is allowed to be happy but 616 Peter. It'd just be kinda sad.

I think it would be interesting to see a USM spin on the MC2. I would absolutely buy that series, no doubt about it.

I'd be all for it, would just find it funny that the Spidey whose inital reason for being was a younger take on the hero getting to grow up more than the main version.

Well, I also heard that they want to do a sort of DC Earth-1/Earth-2 kind of thing where the two universes interact and cross over. So having 616 Spidey encounter this other Peter Parker whose life with MJ went all kinds of right would be a significantly painful blow but would also make for interesting storytelling. However, I can see Editorial doing it simply because it will cause 616 Peter even more pain. Although...they have made it so Peter avoids his married counterparts in the past...this could end up being another case of that.

Saw Across the Spider-verse today. I hope we get more Peter and Mayday in the sequel, man I loved seeing them! As a father of a two year old girl, Peter's talk to Miles got me right in the feels!

I am hopefully that Mayday's higher profile from the Spider-Verse movie will result in more projects for her, comics, movies, etc.
I've long thought that Sony should do Spider-Girl movies. The Sony movies imo really suffer from not having a Spider hero in them, and Mayday would fit the bill perfectly.

NearMint on Youtube said they weren't going to continue with the Complete Collections, but maybe the interest in the character from the films will change Marvel's mind if that's the case.

I would love it if they did a Spider-Girl Omnibus. It is about time that we had one.
