One of my favorite scenes from the late 90's Daredevil run. Awesome seeing Daredevil and Echo facing off:
"I am a man of peace."
"A man of peace...who fights like ten tigers."
Kaine/Scarlet Spider telling you who he exactly is:

"I am a man of peace."
"A man of peace...who fights like ten tigers."
Read this as part of the X-Men Classics series. It was a story featuring the New Mutants, the X-Men, and a Charles Xavier infected by a Brood. Actually, it was the first time I read a story featuring the New Mutants. Some of my favorite parts from the story:
"I am a man of peace."
"A man of peace...who fights like ten tigers."
Just read this in a New Avengers collection. Ha, I'll have to borrow from an old Mockingbird Appreciation Thread but wow Bobbi is amazing!:
"I am a man of peace."
"A man of peace...who fights like ten tigers."
Nice. Reminds me of the iconic meeting between Sub-Mariner and Human Torch as rendered by Alex Ross back in the Marvels series:
"I am a man of peace."
"A man of peace...who fights like ten tigers."
One of the best Wolverine/Wendigo stories I read was from Wolverine: Black, White, and Blood #1. The simple savagery of both was on display there:
"I am a man of peace."
"A man of peace...who fights like ten tigers."
It's weird. I actually read that issue when it came out and I still can't believe there was a time when the X-MEN was that awesome. This whole thread is mostly like looking at a picture of an old friend before they had a horrible accident that left them on life support.
"The Marvel EIC Chair has a certain curse that goes along with it: it tends to drive people insane, and ultimately, out of the business altogether. It is the notorious last stop for many staffers, as once you've sat in The Big Chair, your pariah status is usually locked in." Christopher Priest
I know about the controversy surrounding Frank over the past several years. I'll admit, there's been some handwringing over the character for me. There are questions I have about Frank's place now in the Marvel Universe.
Still, I respect the character. And I think there are some noteworthy moments. For me, this came to mind from Garth Ennis' initial MAX run. If you're familiar with the run, then you know this is one of the tamest scenes out in the story. At the same time, it was so satisfying. Again, if you know the backstory, it makes sense.
"I am a man of peace."
"A man of peace...who fights like ten tigers."
Just reread the War of Realms: Agents of Atlas a couple of weeks ago. Always loved how Shang-Chi is described. Not every weapon indeed! Honestly, first time I read that, I cried a bit. Many naysayers say that Chinese Kung Fu is gone and dead. Shang showed to me that this culture is still very much alive:
"I am a man of peace."
"A man of peace...who fights like ten tigers."
Time wars. A time jumping galvatron screws up time spliting the uk future universe from the main universe making the 2006 future an multiverse universe. Galvatron fighting prime talks about how he has lived over and over this moment in time and he always wins. We see prime losing to galvatron who smiles only to see its not real and in galvatrons head and prime is beating him up in reality!
A shocked galvatron than has to deal with a time rip wanting to suck him up to fix the time stream. His reaction. He stands right up to it and says he defies it!
The results--

A incredible fight with an explosive ending!
Odinson shares a brew with Frank...
...then they have a heart-to-heart

Thor's discussions with others are great. Reminds me of the time Tony tried to "talk" with him post Civil War:
"I am a man of peace."
"A man of peace...who fights like ten tigers."
