Reading interviews with the writer of this series makes me understand why I'm enjoying it so much. This is simply the best thing to happen to John Stewart since BruceTimm and Phil LaMarr.

Just think of all the foreshadowing - Sin telling Abin, "I can't imagine anyone replacing you," a joke about Abin preferring to use spaceships, etc... and of course the final scene where Sinestro shows up with his mustache as a sign of his impending turn to the dark side.

I really like how PKJ has brought in some horror elements. Dude writes every genre and sub-genre really well and has a knack for blending them together effectively. A trait that’s seen throughout a lot of his work.

I kind of like it. The green with inverted black lines are reminiscent of military insignia ranking. Curious to see the rest of it. Additional green will make or break the look.

We've seen the rest of it:

I'd prefer the boots to be regular boot length than thigh-high, but it's okay. Not an improvement on his classic though, imo.
