At the very least watching 2 of the greatest GL's in the Corps history teaming up to take on a corrupt intergalactic organization will be a sight to see.
Writing about comics https://bookofhsssh.blogspot.com
Reading interviews with the writer of this series makes me understand why I'm enjoying it so much. This is simply the best thing to happen to John Stewart since BruceTimm and Phil LaMarr.
Only if it can be done as a buddy comedy:
Sinestro: Are you Sur?
Abin Sur: Positive!
The lampshading:
Random perp: You name is "Sinestro?" What, was "EVIL-o taken?"
Sinestro: Actually, yes.
Just think of all the foreshadowing - Sin telling Abin, "I can't imagine anyone replacing you," a joke about Abin preferring to use spaceships, etc... and of course the final scene where Sinestro shows up with his mustache as a sign of his impending turn to the dark side.
Read #2 and 3 a little while ago. Really enjoying this story so far. The Radiant Dead are pretty creepy.
“Look, you can’t put the Superman #77s with the #200s. They haven’t even discovered Red Kryptonite yet. And you can’t put the #98s with the #300s, Lori Lemaris hasn’t even been introduced.” — Sam
“Where the hell are you from? Krypton?” — Edgar Frog
