Ennis's The Punisher and Ennis's The Punisher MAX are different things.

I read about what was done with the character and ... gads! Happy I stayed away from that story.
Keep your hands to yourself, leave other people's things alone, and be kind to one another.
Struggling? How so?
Go over to DC and see what is going on with Dawn of DC. It is doing great. There are some great Marvel books out there as well. The problem is the younger generation wants to read it all on the phone or tablet. They think its silly spending money on actual comic books. Is what it is. If the industry is struggling so bad go over to ebay and try to get your hands on Supergirl Woman of Tomorrow. Maybe try the Authority books. Go look up the first appearance of Miles. Crazy.
Again...The Punisher was not put away because the industry is hurting.
"Life is too short so love the one you got cause you might get run over or you might get shot" - Sublime
Yes. The Market has been going wonky for decades and a lot of it has to with it trying to prop up an outdated business model. And this is like the third time ( at least ) they've done something like this to the Punisher. He'll back in like a year or two with his traditional skull and shooting mobsters.
Nah. Apparently it's bad to shoot mobsters.
"Cable was right!"
Tom Taylor is doing this. It's been two years since the villain Heartless has been around killing people but Nightwing thinks it's more important to give speeches, he closed the city jail after a rebellion where everyone fled and built the new base of the Titans in its place (all this to give one more speech )..........and everyone claps.
"Man, why is a white power revenge fantasy so unpopular these days?"
Fixed it for ya.
I was hoping we'd build to an epic clash, instead we barely got a spark.
But Aaron doesn't want to ruin Frank. He simply saw the narrative bullet coming and redirected it into something much, much less.
