Well the council of elders usurped power in Abnett and declared the house of Atlan extinct,when it wasn't, without having the authority. KSD corrects the limits of the powers of the council as the widowhood declares that the Queen has limitless powers, at which Mera orders their arrest. However Mera dissolves the monarchy in KSD so the it is not an issue anymore if the Royal lineage matters anymore.

I can't wait to watch Aquaman 2 as I loved the first one. I'm scared, though, not sure what to expect at this point.
