Was that Hawkman romance thing random or was there something in PreCrisis to which it paid homage?
Yawn, generic virgin nerd x generic loose stacy couple dynamic. I do not need a Peter Parker/ Tails kinda boyfriend status as a as its always going to focus and project the reader into the guy and make the girl the narrative plot device than the character. Karen I though would be more into fun guys, but shes so ambigously inconsistent i dont know her true beats.
There's more to the segment than that, though I am impressed that Jimmy garnered a "next night" after their blind date.
PG a "loose Stacy"? That's kind of stretching it, I think.
The Karen/Jimmy segment was nice but very undercooked. I definitely could've spent a lot more time with them in their dates to develop their characters and dynamic than the barely-appetizer that we got.
From an upcoming JSA cover. Nice art but looks a little off without the cape.

“Look, you can’t put the Superman #77s with the #200s. They haven’t even discovered Red Kryptonite yet. And you can’t put the #98s with the #300s, Lori Lemaris hasn’t even been introduced.” — Sam
“Where the hell are you from? Krypton?” — Edgar Frog
So when are we having her interact with the family?
Apparently soon, post from Sauvage:

I think SG and PG could exist within the same 'verse as cousins with the same name, "the two Karas", but sometimes an adjustment or nickname is used to avoid mistakes; like having Francis and Frances together in a room and one gets called Frannie or Francois. Similar to Superman being called Clark or Kal, I feel that Karen is as much a proper name for Power Girl as Kara.
