This always gives a chuckle.
"The rise of mutant monsters has put mutantkind on high alert as the question of “who will be next?” grows imminent. On Krakoa, a bizarre eco-technological structure has risen around Nightcralwer’s home, and Vox Ignis is on the case to figure out the origins. What he discovers has the potential to bring the foundation of the living island to its knees. With the clock running against them, will the Legionnaires be able to quell the spiraling chaos before it is too late?"
SIGH! We can only wait and see. :-/
Welp I’ve read Lox #9. I knew it was a trap but I have to admit I didn’t see that coming. I’m not looking forward to what Kurt’s going to be put through in SOS.
Oh I fully expected her to betray Kurt, but not in this way. He’s going to be put through hell, and probably his team too.
Nightcrawler knew it was likely a trap and she was about to give him trouble…again, and still tried to give her the benefit of the doubt.
I love Kurt’s forgiving nature but boy does he get into a lot of trouble for it.
Kurt and Margali have such a strange and messed up relationship. Arguably she’s the one who nurtured his compassionate heart and at the same time, tests him again and again.
After everything she’s already done, where does handing you, your team and possibly a whole mutant nation sit on the scale of ‘how much has your mother screwed you over for her own gain?’ ….her and mystique should really have a chat.
It was such a harsh betrayal and it even made the news.

Krakoa, Arakko, and Otherworld forever!
A glimpse of Kurt defending Curse’s resurrection.
He shaved specifically for this meeting.
Nice Variant cover, although I don’t think Kurt’s going to be de-monstrified until SOS concludes.

I’m guessing that when they we’re planning this story, they needed a way to neutralise Kurt as the voice of compassion. I’m wondering if they will redeem Margali, by making her spell a deliberate protection against Sinister? One way to tell will be if everyone effected , such as Warren and Dr Nemesis, are immune?
I am also guessing that Sinister plans to use Kurt’s DNA to make deadly teleporting assassins, but, like Cardinal and his fellow chimeras, the are defective by being good and rebellious against him.
