I look forward to a Marvel Comics: The Untold Story type of book about this era, too bad it probably won't come out until most of the people involved aren't at Marvel or working in comics anymore.

How long do you guys reckon Scott will stay on the sidelines this time around? A year? 3?
Probably at least til Duggan leaves or the protocols are up and running again since there'd be no excuse to keep him dead. Or maybe a writer comes along that actually wants to use him and not just for those he tends to associate with like Jean.
Been vibing to the Sonic Frontiers vocal tracks, and can't help but imagine Cyke on a space adventure soloing space titans with nothing but never-say-die-determination and solar-powered mega optic blasts.
Let your wallet talk.

Jean had more presence in death than Cyke in Hickman's entire run.
Hickman succeeded where 2010s Marvel didn't: make the X-Men villainous and irrelevant.
Hilariously, the X-Men have now fully embraced mutant supremacy and racism against humans.

Since X-Men 97 is coming in January, that's the most likely return date. Then again, the geniuses at Marvel had the bright idea of not having Wanda or Vision in a comic when Wandavision was released, so...
Le sigh. Duggan's "writing" is straight up torture porn by now. Oh well. Can't wait for Scott to somehow be blamed for the x-line's upcoming failures.
Remember. It's only wrong when Cyclops does it. And stuff that goes wrong when Cyke's not 'round? Definitely Cyke's fault! XD
Given the state of current Marvel, I don't have any hopes for both the series and Cyke's eventual portrayal...

Scott might not die. People in Jean grey thread say it’s jean who actually will die at the gala. So it looks like Scott will stay with xmen or they put him in different book. Although I remember Duggan said there will be one extra character in UA and said he liked writing the dynamic/interactions between that character and captain America
