Some Kate art by her incoming artist for OUTSIDERS by Robert Carey. I'm not well versed in Carey's work. Wicked atmospheric Batmobile there...

Vaguely amusing - Batwoman is included in an Australian supermarket promotion. She promotes cucumbers.
Chomp on some cucumbers for a Batwoman-ready antioxidant boost.
Batman promotes bananas and eggplants, Robin does buk choy, Catwoman tomatoes, and Batgirl grapes.

Another Outsiders variant, I think the artist is Christian Ward, (but the variants just had a list of artist names at the end and I can't see a signature on this one):

It's going to take some time to acclimate to Kate using her natural, shorter, hair for Batwoman.

Late to the party, but I finally watched Catwoman: Hunted - loved it!

Best animated versions of Kate and Selina so far IMHO. Also very refreshing to see Selina as she should be as compared to the current OOC version in Gotham War. I'd love to see more of this version of Kate going forward, so snarky and humorous. And she even used gadgets and her wits in this.

It was cute, but I'm glad it didn't go any further - no need to complicate things between the cousins.

The Lord of the Rings reference with them competing on who could take down the most ninjas was fun too.

    Outsiders #2 in December.

    “Monsters of the Unknown.”

What hidden tragedies lie inside the Forever Storm of the Enlil Triangle?

On January 1, 2000, a storm kicked up near the Enlil island chain in the mid-Atlantic. And it never stopped. As a West Point cadet, Kate Kane encountered something monstrous in those turbulent waves…and now, she is returning to face it alongside the Outsiders! But can she control her desire for revenge in the service of Luke Fox’s mission of understanding? What secrets will they discover deep beneath the monster-filled waves of the Enlil Triangle? And how will the Outsiders survive their encounter with the monster-hunting specialists of the DC Universe: the New Challengers of the Unknown?

This new, boundary-breaking dive into the secret history of the DC Universe is just beginning!

I'm really wary of that solicit. Aside from another big event being added to Kate's past and resurfacing in the present, the part about her having a "desire for revenge" about this brand new thing makes no sense to me.

One of the reasons Kate is able to operate as Batwoman is very explicitly because she's able to put aside any desire for revenge related to her mom (and for a while, to Beth). She was specifically trained against this. It's not something that's relevant to her. So she can put away a desire for revenge for her murdered mom, but not for whatever this new thing is? I can't imagine how that can possibly have a satisfying answer.
Mega fan of: Helena Bertinelli (pre-52), Batwoman, Birds of Prey, Guardians of the Galaxy, Secret Six
Fan of: Batman, Cassandra Cain, Wonder Woman, Silk, Stephanie Brown, Captain America, Hellcat, Renee Montoya, Gotham Central, King Shark
Quasi-Fan of: Aquaman, Midnighter, Superman, Catwoman, Nightwing, Green Arrow, Squadron Supreme, Red Hood

Other likes: Low, Hush, Arkham Asylum: ASHoSE, Watchmen, A-Force, Bombshells, Grayson, Unfollow

Team Cap (both Rogers and Danvers)

Probably just character reversion for the sake of driving the plot. By the sound of it the intent is to create tension between Kate and Luke so they can have a disagreement. Authors do this sort of thing all the time to create drama. It might not be too bad depending on context, but I haven't read anything from these writers before so I don't know what to expect or how good a grasp they have of both Kate and Luke.

I will say that the first 2 solicits feel more focused on Kate than Luke or the newcomer, but that's just going by the cover art and blurbs, so I could be wrong.

I hope Outsiders is good even if the new hair length will take some getting used to.
