Like a Red Dragon, The Phoenix shall Soar in 2024!
Is Guiding Light disney owned? Wasn't it nbc? Wasn't she on the show first? Don't think disney or marvel owns her unless they made a deal to give marvel the characters rights.
I am not sure.
The Soap GL promoted the character and I know Marvel promoted her with a comic and the title: "The Guiding Light: She's a Marvel!"
Besides not including Jean Grey Marvel Girl in the Movie The Marvels, The Guiding Light: She's a Marvel, also was not included. Two missed Marvels.

Hercules pulls a hulk and throws godzilla!
Death's head sounds like a name that would fit in well with 80s transformers as a kids toy (ironic as he is tied to transformers and dr who) so unlike dc scared of deathstroke in a kids cartoon don't see the problem with deaths heads name in a kids cartoon.
^^^OMG! Early Death's Head is still THE BEST (XD)

I wish that Marvel could acquire the "Defenders of the Earth" characters again, set them up on their own world, and have new comics, and even develop a film or television series based on the characters.
I used to like watching this cartoon, although it always seemed like it was getting pre-empted by other shows. I thought the DoE was a great concept, although I admittedly had to set aside some of the original comic book treatment of characters Prince Lothar (who many insist is the first Black superhero) and even the Phantom to an extent. (I didn't quite get how a European man who was marooned on an island filled with dark-skinned natives somehow managed to have a continuous line of all white sons. You'd think somewhere in there would have been a child of mixed heritage simply because there weren't any white Europeans on the island at first. But whatevs.) That said, I've always liked the Phantom and thought Marvel should have either bought the character or created a homage to patrol the concrete jungles of New York. (I realize the Coal Tiger rendering of the Black Panther hints at that very thing, but I would have made the homage more apparent.)
One surprise on defenders of the earth was killing flash's girlfriend (now wife) off. She was a longtime character to just kill off really fast in the first episode than just replace her with a robot version.
Also dote had a great intro song! Gets stuck in your head.
