The UK Transformers comics used to have fun with the corner boxes. They had a run where it changed slightly each week to show Optimus Prime transforming, and then a few one-off special ones like the larger ones shown here:

Does Marvel still have any part-involvement with this?

UK got a D&D cartoon comic from marvel? Not fair!
ah STAR Comics, he home of their cartoon adaptations. I fondly recall the THUNDERCATS book. IIRC the initial issues went to press using the original character color guide from the initial designs. But by the time the show debuted they had been updated so it took a bit for the book to make adjustments.
When they introduced new characters in the book, I eagerly awaited them showing up in animation but the book was its own thing in that regard. Alas, I never got to see LYNXANA THE HUNTER in cartoon form!

What about the original Spider-Man comics that La Prensa did in Mexico when they were running out of actual Spider-Man comics to translate? (including the marriage of Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy). Can Marvel claim those and republish them?
I would guess no, since they didn't write them. Marvel did not pay the Mexican publisher to create these books for Marvel. They licensed the characters to the Mexican publisher. (Well, I assume that's what they did.)

Me also. They felt like part of marvels identity.I miss corner boxes
She-Hulk has them. Changes every issue.
Oh, they did all sorts, and not all comics. They were the original publishers of Doctor Who Weekly, which launched in 1979 and still exists as Doctor Who Magazine, now published by Panini who acquired the licence when they took over Marvel UK in the 90s. DWM is a magazine with articles, not a comic book, but does have a comic strip. The 1980s American Doctor Who comic book contained reprints from the British magazine. I also remember getting a Thomas the Tank Engine comic when I was little, and that was published by Marvel as well. The stories inside were drawings with captions, not speech bubbles, so again, not a traditional comic book. Though to be fair that does match the style of the TV series, where everything was narrated by one person (it was Ringo Starr from the Beatles in the UK, but it was redubbed in the US).

This was my first real exposure to the Micronauts. We didn't have a comic shop anywhere nearby and Marvel was moving it and a couple others to the newsstands.
The cover instantly grabbed my attention.
I also liked this team... And still do.
