A title such as Master of Darkness has a somewhat negative connotation to my ears. An air of evil as it is said attaches to it. First blush I don't like it for a hero.

I think that's exactly where Hill is pulling Blade. Essentially having to become everything he hates to beat the Adana. It'll be curious to see what's left of him afterwards.
