I feel like those add-ons are a (failed) attempt to make what is clearly intended as a superhero costume into an Amazonian war garb type costume.
Ultimately it fails because the base starfield bodysuit doesn't look like what any of the other Amazons wear.

Donna doesn't need to go full-on warrior with her suit. I appreciate the effort on their end it just didn't invoke any real feelings from fans in general it seems.

Agree. They are giving us a thing nobody wanted or needed, which is why it hasn't resonated.

Classic example of trying to "fix" something that wasn't broken...which is why I'm loving the more simplified and classic look showing up in the new Titans preview art.

Speaking of Donna's suit...I found this on DeviantArt and I dont think I have ever been so enamored with a Donna design as I am with this one. The only thing I would change would be the gold choker and probably red boots otherwise, I think this speaks perfectly to Donna's personality. Design by onecoyote

Scenes like these are why I am not a fan of pushing Donna even further into the fantasy aspect of the DCU be it as a Titans Seed, a living weapon or whatever nonsense. She is a mortal gifted with the power of the Amazons. That's what makes her unique.

This is why I like the idea of her growing up as a mortal, but using the Titan Seed thing as the reason she has powers. She thinks like a Human, even if she's not.
