I remember Luke dating Barbara Gordon, and I imagine Mari being older than their age group. They're adults who cares; superhero couples typically seem to be close in age tho. Even a gap like GA-Canary didn't have Dinah as an age-mate of Roy Harper. Feels like Mari dating Cyborg or Nightwing, which is how my head rationalizes Mari-Luke as a couple.

While stll beautiful, Naomi Campbell started her modeling career at 15...so there a lot of wiggle room when judging Mari's age.

I thought the DC Power story was very generic. Certainly didn’t sell me on the new pairing.
I hope whoever handles Vixen next has something more special planned.

Well, at least Vixen got to fight a major villain, who I could see giving her trouble from time to time, depending on what type of mission he is on.

I like it when villains are not just fighting the same superheroes over and over and over again (just because they might be arch enemies) without going up against other superheroes from time to time. It makes the comic book universes less bland, stale and predictable.

Speaking of modeling, I bet Vixen could be a supermodel for decades if she wanted to, just by reversing her age, like a jellyfish. I could imagine that would make a lot of women in the DC Universe jealous. The DC Universe's version of Naomi Campbell would definitely throw a phone over that.

I like to think of Mari as being in the same generation as Superman and Batman give or take a couple of years.

Here is a fun question: if Vixen fought an evil Kryptonian which animals can she channel to attack, evade and defend herself and how will she take them down? Said evil Krpytonian could be Zod, Non, Ursa or whoever you prefer. It's a 1 vs 1 and her job is to take down just this one rogue Kryptonian.

EDIT: Krypto and other alien beings don't count.
