Toranos's wheel boomeranging back to him is so damn cool! These pages are fire
Nice preview.
Although, I have a question.
It looked like Odin sacrificed his eye to get the Odin force from the preview. I thought it was Odin's brothers sacrifice that gave Odin his power?
(Although I could be misremembering).
Immortal Thor Issue #2 thoughts:

It's kind of surreal seeing anything involving Odin in a Thor comic being treated with legit gravitas. Or having Thor throwing around his Silver Age powers as Allfather. Or speech bubbles!
Thor is really worried about the Allsleep, which funnily enough I never thought about once Thor became king. I wonder if eventually we'll get an arc where Thor sleeps and the supporting cast have to make do without him.
Art continues to look amazing. Ewing's writing helps, but the sheer scale, majesty, and wonder of what's going on is perfectly captured in the art.
I like how Thor cares about collateral damage.
Androgynous Loki is...a look. I get what they're going for, but I don't think it works near as well as Starfox. Like if Loki can shift genders, they should feel more distinct? At least in my opinion. Though particularly when you've got Tom Hiddleston on screens people will probably end up defaulting to a distinctly handsome male Loki.
Is the idea that Loki morphed into "Villain Loki" mode as if on command? Loki can just transform into a personality when needed? I mean, I appreciated seeing Loki in a fancier and more distinct outfit, but I feel like it would've been captured better if it was a more classic Loki look. Or looked more like the traditional Lady Loki since it seemed Loki was in female form. Of course even when Ewing tries to write a more villainous Loki I don't think he can really bring himself to write Loki that ambiguously moral or grey, so it's all in the service of Loki being a good boi. Thor getting into some labors on another planet to test himself and make him strong enough to fight Toranos?
This issue was fantastic and the series has such an epic feel that I can't wait for the next issue.
The Avengers are Firefighters. We're the ones who fly into the blaze, whatever it is. Because we're the ones who
can, so we're the ones who have to.~Captain Marvel

Thor corps issue, i bet
Good issue, though the word bubbles do go on and on and on. Drafting an urgent email to Ewing rn to introduce a irreverent pet gerbil who can sit in Thor's pocket and riff with him

Also the loss of life from Toranos's attack? Didn't hit at all.
