I'm not sure how much this "homophobe writer" actually used Grace Choi and Thunder in his Run on Outsiders, but I wouldn't be surprised if he made a better job writing them than Fitzmartin made with Tim...

Just looking shortly over it, he used them quite bit and from what I remember didn't wrote them poorly.

Yeah, RWBY has been Rooster Teeth's biggest series. And has come a LONG way since seasons 1 and 2.

Outside of a reboot or adaptation, I'm not fond of him being Robin again. It feels like a step backwards which is a problem the YJ team faces as a whole.

So I'm hoping he gets a new identity and niche. Going to college out of Gotham would be a good way to bring back his everyman appeal. Although him getting a job would be another way to go.

Another poster talked about aging the YJ crew up and letting them be post college characters but that feels like a pipe dream currently.

I'm curious what the White Knight version of Tim would be like.
