He's written in the book itself as gay. And not even real person gay, but adorable Twitter worshipper gay. He's a personification of a meme.

I picked up the most recent issue, 9 and I must say it wasn't completely terrible as some of the earlier issues have been. It did go down hill on the pages where Bernard was included in the story and Tim's entire action/reaction to him was fairly cringe-worthy. But overall the story wasn't terrible. The Chaos Monsters seem to be an interesting concept...I had to look them up as I had forgotten Fitzmartin used them previously. It would be interesting to see what a more adept writer could do with the concept.
The art was a million times better.

Over all...I can only hope it will be. Despite growing up with Dick as Robin, Dick IS Nightwing to me, I love Tim Drake. What Fitzmartin has done with the character has been...disappointing. Hopefully someone like Zdarsky will actually put some effort into him and give him a new identity so he can move past being Robin (and we really can forget this run.)
