I finally picked up the Fauxsimile issue and I must say I'm pretty underwhelmed by it. Like, I get is just a gimmick issue that DC put out to make a quick buck but it is actually what they planned back then, then the whole thing was a big scam since Jason living or dying led to the exact same outcome. Jason's time as Robin was up either way and seems like him surviving only would've amounted to him making a few cameos here and there before vanishing into the comic limbo or worse, appearing again to be turned into a villain or to be unceremoniously killed to prove how a shiny new villain meant business.
I also picked up the The Jason Lives issue and it really was underwhelming .
The way that Jason was left in a coma , Batman would have never let him be Robin again if he had come out of the coma and depending on his health .
I think that Jason would have just been a forgotten hero and he would have never had the benefit of the healing of the Lazarus Pits that gave him super strength like Ras Al Ghul .
Season's Greetings.
"Good-bye. Good luck. Good riddance."
