I think some view Hercules as the be all end all epitome of rugged masculinity as opposed to the rest of the "woke" and/or queer men in the Wonderverse. When really, who actually thinks Hercules didn't slam a bussy or two.

And I think people forget that that's the attitude Wonder Woman comics are fighting: men don't have to be that. Steve is ruggedly masculine without needing to be an *******, and is secure in his girlfriend being stronger than him. Yet he's called a "eunuch" by some for it. It's not as if this comic is missing some good men (Steve, Ferdinand, Darnell, Michaelis, Ed, Kevin Mayer, Horace Westlake, Stavros), it's just that they aren't the focus. And that's ok.

It's an excellent climax to well-constructed scene that subverts the traditional story of the Amazons vs. Hercules, brought to life by Nicola Scott's art.
