It's a terrible signature that was never supposed to last past No Man's Land. Everyone seems to have forgotten that the stitched-on portion of Cass's mask was originally meant to cover the portion of Batman's face that is normally visible, when Helena altered an actual Bat-cowl to conceal her identity. And yet nearly every artist since has drawn it in this weird upside-down V shape which makes no sense and, worst of all, is simply ugly. I'm so sick of it. It's the dumbest design in the past 25 years of superhero looks and desperately needs an update.

I feel like it fits the vibe of her Batgirl and visually sets her apart from everybody. I'm fine with a maskless Cass, but as Batgirl that's kind of her look.

It's bad enough we were stuck with the Orphan costume as long as we were...

She doesn't have to be maskless. They could literally change nothing about her standard design except removing the stitches and I would be happy. Or it could be a decent look if she had her mouth showing like Bruce, maybe with some black make-up? Anything.

I wouldn't mind if the cowl just went full face with the mask (ala Spider-Man/Deadpool)...


Or Ninja it up with the mouth covering and expose other parts of her face for expressions etc...

I hated when YJ gave her a sword.

I didn't realize that a sword was that unusual of an accessory. One of my favorite uses of Cassandra was in the Chuck Dixon BATMAN AND THE OUTSIDERS series.
