Green Arrow #2 variant cover featuring Arsenal and Green Arrow (Connor) by Ejikure.
White Hawk could be a cool name for Connor that's a bit more unique than "Emerald/Green something" and could reference his pacifist stance.
But I honestly wouldn't mind if he just uses Hawke as that's pretty cool already.
My only real problem with Hawke as a codename is the likelihood of confusion with the similarly named Hawk of Hawk & Dove fame.
I'm thinking now of riffing on the original Richard Dragon series, as well as the old Blood of the Dragon mini, and giving him a name that's Dragon-something. Dragonclaw maybe, or Dragonfist. It would be something along the lines of Connor being trained by Richard Dragon, and being named as his martial-arts heir, thereby inheriting the jade dragon-claw pendant Richard used to wear.
Added benefit, it would likely irritate Shiva to no end.
I hated the Dragon's Blood mini series giving him powers. It was an unnecessary change that was never going to stick.
Green Arrow #1 was a good set up, but I would like to have a 6 issue mini series staring Connor & Roy. I think that would be kinda great.
Throw in Shiva, Jade, Roy's Checkmate connections and the Brotherhood of the Monkey and let's go!!
"My name is Wally West. I'm the fastest man alive!"
I'll try being nicer if you try being smarter.
I'm looking for some info...
According to various wiki pages, Connor has "the unique ability to mimic any fighting style he sees".
Does anyone know where that was established?
I was curious about this too a while back, and I found it comes from 'JLA: The Ultimate Guide to the Justice League of America'.

My memory is a bit fuzzy on this, but no, I don't think this was ever established in-story. However, I have listened to Dixon talk about his Green Arrow run before and every now and then he'll mention that he/DC wanted to establish Ollie and Connor as metahumans, so as to explain their unnatural talents in archery and martial arts respectively.
The writer of this encyclopaedia is Scott Beatty, who was a writing partner of Dixon's (and of course this encyclopaedia was approved by DC), so I assume this isn't Beatty just making it up out of thin air.
Hmmm... that's not quite what the wiki pages say, Frankly, copying a MOVE is relatively easy (there aren't THAT many ways to throw a punch/kick, after all), but that's a far cry from being able to mimic an entire STYLE.
In any case, thanks for clarifying. Personally, I've never liked the stories that have him powers, so I think it's fair to disregard.
