Happy New Year for Janet/Wasp! I hope she does well in her new mini with Nadia, and then perhaps join a new Avengers team. Or they make Ant-Vengers a real thing to save Hank!
Happy New Year to Janet the Wasp and all her fans!

It's very rare that she does that - she's Giant-Woman when she does. That page is from Avengers #81, from the 1998 series. LGY #496.

Happy New Year to the Winsome Wasp and her fans !
I love Janet .
Thanks.
Was there any mention of Janet needing to take a new Pym formula for enlargement in order to become Giant-Woman? I did not read those issues you list above, but never in the long past of stories did I ever hear mention of Janet being able to grow, as she ever only took the reducing formula.

I only mentioned one issue - it had both current series and legacy numbering on, a practice that continued into Bendis's run which started at LGY #500.
She took the growth formula in issue 77.

Back to the Avengers, the Wasp tried out the growth properties of the Pym Particles, occasionally going on field as Giant-Woman, although she clumsily faced difficulties in transitioning from different sizes. (citation: Avengers Vol 3 #77)

I remember in Marvel Adventures she was exclusively Giant-Woman.
Giant-Girl actually. She started out as that, but became Wasp later on.

I loved the Wasp from the Earth Mightiest heroes cartoon. I'm hoping Ewing's anniversary spotlight gives her a much needed spotlight.
And now for a new take - Al Ewing's.

I think this explains just why Avengers was the first name that came into Janet's head for Earth's Mightiest Heroes. She became a superhero to avenge her father, and says exactly that to Hank when they first meet. In the present, Nadia's been researching her real mother. The killer was never caught, so she's after vengeance too.
