Marauders is very slept-on. I guess because people don't like the art, but it's doing very interesting worldbuilding and character work with its cast. The introduction of the new Threshold mutants worked far better than the introduction of Escapade, for example, who is a flop.

Legion of X over Duggan-Men is wild.

    1. X-Men Red
    2. Sabretooth (and the Exiles)
    3. Immortal X-Men (don’t like all the creative choices, but damn I’d be lying if I said this book wasn’t entertaining)
    4. X-Men
    5. X-Terminators
    6. Legion of X

Only listed the books I’m currently reading, don’t feel right ranking stuff I’m not paying for and judging off of summaries and YT vids. NM would have ranked in my top 3 or 4 before the change in direction. Kinda surprised I ended up ranking LoX last, since I definitely respect it for taking risks but I just don’t have a ton of FUN reading that book.

I dropped X force and Wolverine (that is odd for me since those two historically have been my go to X books even when NOT reading others) but I can't get into them.

    Marauders is loseing me.

New Mutants has it's ups and downs.

Xmen and Xmen Red have hit every story line out of the park

Immortal Xmen has a great set up and is fun to read but not as good as the other 2 Xmen books (but that might be cause the other two are hitting it out of the park)

overall the 3 Xmen titles are the ones I want to read most each month.

Edit: and I typed that up without remember Legion of X was a thing... I know I like it but I can't remember a darn thing about it I like... so maybe that isn't as good as I would like
In the real world i would be BOTH pro registration and Pro mutant rights. Xavier and Trask were both right.

The best way to rate them and find out which turn out to be the best and worst of 2022 is of course to let your voice be heard on our 2022 X-Books voting.

If you did not vote on our forum yet for your favorites of 2022, please do so fast. Voting ends soon. Vote here.

I have put a lot of time and effort this year again to make it, so why don't you take a moment to let us know what your favorites were?

Immortal X-Men > Sabretooth and the Exiles > X-Men (+ X-Men: Dark Web) > X-Men Legends > X-Treme X-Men. I've been dropping X-Force, Marauders and New Mutants (since Vita's run ended) for a while and I'm not interested in Arakko so X-Men Red isn't for me

    Mine in order of favorites:

    X-Men
    X-Men Red
    New Mutants
    Immortal X-Men
    Sabretooth & the Exiles
    X-Terminators
    Marauders
    Wolverine
    X-Force
    Legion of X

    Not Reading:

    Deadpool
    Xtreme X-Men

I'm skipping every X book related to the upcoming Sinister event and might not continue at all after that. While I actually think the Krakoan era is super interesting the books lately have not been something I feel I NEED to read. I'm just so sick of reading about the same dozen or so mutants. Especially with so many of them being formally great X villains. I'd love it if Fall of X ends up being most of the former villains become villains again and try to take over Krakoa but fail. The aftermath has a more structured Krakoa with the return of the mansion but on the island. Might also be time to do away with the Resurrection Protocols completely.

    The best (for me)
    X-men: Red
    Immortal X-men
    X-men

    Dropped:
    New Mutants
    Legion of X
    Marauders

Keep hoping it will get better:
    X-force
Excalibur (in whatever name TH rebrands it as just because I’m a Betsy fan. TH writing is atrocious)

    No interest:
X-terminators - no interest in slapstick comedy x-men
Unlimited- no interest in awful awful stories (from recaps)

Yeah I love Betsy but I refuse to buy anymore stories about her written by Tini Howard. It's weird too because I love what she's doing on Catwoman at DC. However her work at Marvel during this Krakoan era has just not been enjoyable for me at all.

Wolverine - The only title that I've consistently enjoyed since the Krakoa era began. Then again Wolverine is my favorite character so...

X-Force - Started strong, but once Quire was starting to get too much focus, I dropped it for a bit. Been enjoying it again since they offed him. Will probably drop it again once Logan leaves the book.

Close to my own rankings. I have zero ranking for Wolverine, since I don't read that title and it could rock out loud for all I know.

But definitely Immortal and Red and Sabertooth at the top (the latter of which surprises the hell out of me, since I care nothing for the character!).

Legion of X is swinging for the fences with the big ideas, even if opinions vary on how well they are doing so, making it more interesting to me than X-Men, which feels less daring, if more reliable, to me.

I want to like Marauders, mostly for Aurora (who is unrecognizable) and Tempo (who deserves so much more), but it's not for me (also swinging for the fences, and, even less successfully than Legion of X, AFAIC).

New Mutants was last interesting when they were dealing with Amal Farouk, and have lost me since.

X-Terminators is silly fun, kind of porn without plot (and without porn).

And X-Force. Dead last of the X-books I've read in the last year.

Also not reading Excalibur, or whatever book has Betsy at the moment, so no ranking for it.

Is Logan leaving the book? I haven't heard this and assumed he would stay on X-Force and in his solo book.
