I wonder if this isn't deliberately trolling or spoiling Wells' run. If sticking Mary Jane and other people into a temporal pocket is what Wells comes up with as what Peter did, North's got in there first.
At the very least, North's saying, this is the right way to write a 'What did X do?' arc.

I don't think recent writers are that spiteful with one another compare to fans. But North might have saw how Wells taking too long for his mystery box to be solve and how that already pissing off spiderman fans. Probably doesn't want to go thru that with F4. Or since it is F4 a prolong mystery box isnt best for a series like that
